The beautiful Mind

"It is difficult to understand"
This is the most common of all the comments i have heard from people who have gone through my blog. :)
I presume that is because i am prescribing an overdose of my thoughts!
Well if anybody feels that i should be chargesheeted,
this is just to inform you that i prefer a tribunal of some military junta! :D

The beautiful Mind

What is the greatest gift of life?
Answer: The gift of a sound mind!

Psychology has always hooked me!!
It is vast, complex and its you!
And i am not qualified to write on it, but the best part of this stream is that u can always comment on it,
because you are just talking your mind.

And Both are just one!
There is no need to play sudoku, or for that matter any puzzle game,
if you knew that the biggest and toughest one ever to exist... is ur mind itself!!

Limitless with no boundaries, it remains the most vital tool in the hands of a man!
And it is for free, as if a birth right!! It comes with us all!
We dont know what all dimensions it skims through,
but we know that its the fastest of all.

Now let s see your mind...
Every single event in your life has moulded it!
Its ur face or ur shadow, call it whatever!!
Only you could have made it the way it is now.
And given a second chance, you cant replicate!!!
Its a one time tread path... a repeat is forlorn.

Everything that happened in your life has had an impact on it.
As a kid, when you cut your finger for the very first time, you ran to ur parents and observed how they reacted to that.
Coz pain could be expressed... through a cry!!
But with a foreign entity, you didnt knw how to identify and react to the blood?
And if ur mom turned hysteric then, today you definitely not a soldier.
Nor a nurse or a doc for that matter!

Coz clever mind games could revamp the pattern, but the impression would remain!!

So the learning started from Day One, without our knowledge!
And what did we learn in school?
To be a social animal!!
And finally, today we all are a typical show case specimen.
We all have a mind draped in an armour... of artificial custom made responsiveness.

If (incident=A)
{ do 'this' }
else if
(incident=B)
{do 'that' } -- -- --
and on and on!

And truly like a well tailored suit covering the body,
it covers you (or should i say, hides you) .
Only the best is shown, the not-so-good remains inside.

So even though u have become the leader of the safari team,
you still 'shamefully' dread the spiders!

Individuals have personal stereotype reactions to incidents.
say for eg; a new e-mail is recieved, some would be outright anxious, with a big energy overdose...
And the rest (read majority) remains phobic.
What needs to be understood...
is that the love, fear, trust, anxiety!!
every factor that ur mind throws at u
decides whether your life is what it is worth!

and its so limitless that you can still recast
Like a game u have coded.
your attitude, perspective, willingness..
everything you can decide.

So its like this

You design ur mind -> ur Mind plays the game -> You live to tell the tale.

But rarely people try understanding their mind.
even if it decides whether you are going to win the game, much b4 the pitch is laid!
cast spells on you and redeem you of your sins.
limit you, expand you.. both socialy and spiritualy.

As an end note,
(esp for those who didnt understand this post ;( )
let me just say, it can give you a good night sleep...
and now half of the world knows its worth!

PowerPlay

I got the surprise of my life today when I went thru the newsprint. So much so that I need to write this blog.
Anyway, the view listed below is my futile attempt to pen down something that has been in my mind for some time!
So here goes,

There are three Big Questions for our dear readers!

No: 1) What does the world’s richest cricketing board and the poorest of the poor farmers of our land have in common?

Ans: Both share Mr Sharad Pawar as their guardian.

Because, he is the Hon Union Minister for Agriculture in India and also the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (not necessarily in that order).

And talking abt cricket, let us face the next bouncer question:

2) How many times have you seen Mr Sharad Powar, the person most liable, come in the news for a cause of agriculture?

Ans: Never until today… (At least for me)

Maybe as an answer to the prayers of the countless, today finally he was in the news regarding the crops.

And since that s a bit too hard to digest, the third question is relatively very easy…

3) Even for a Union Minister, why this bias?

The answer is simple and straight: - Money!!!

It has always been a blot to our society that the contribution of agriculture on the Indian GDP scale keeps steadily decreasing.
It now stands close to a mere 2.5%.
Situation is so bleak that people today look down upon agriculture as a loss making venture. Unpredictable monsoon, petty politics, pathetic PDS all weigh down upon the poor and illiterate farmers every year resulting in huge loans but empty stomachs.

And now the whole nation is facing an imminent food crisis.
From an export of rice and wheat to an importer of wheat at exorbitant rates, last year we pushed the global market into an unprecedented state of flux.

After so much of buying inflation from the outside world, with prices of cereals, pulses, wheat touching the sky… the finance minister today is having sleepless nights to hike the export and to strike down on the import duties.

Hence it is paradoxical that our farmers be living in poverty.
Their counterparts in Ukraine, Australia and many other parts are not in such dire straits.
And with more than 60% of the nation’s population surviving on farming alone, the gravity of the situation gets alarming.

But here we have a Union Minister for agriculture turning such an appalling situation into a blind spot.
Himself from Maharashtra, a land which is always in the news for its high rate of farmer’s suicide, it is nothing short of criminal negligence.

One needs to just take a tour of the lands of Vidharbha to take stock of the situation.
The grim faces of frail mortals are very different from that of the present rich friends of Mr Pawar, whom they had voted to power so loyally.

It is adding salt on wounds for the millions of poor farmers to watch their “central guardian” share the spotlight to earning billions.
Well, the minister is where the money is... and he is making merry of it.
For a top politician to be so high handed and negligent in his civic duties talks volumes about the confidence of system perpetrators to escape the law.

So why is there no justice? The answer to that is so simple that I don’t have to waste my breath…

Ok, my free time is up. Back to work!

But for all those Yawners who live corporate, the budding entrepreneurs of tomo,
forget farming but there is much to learn from BCCI!!
Just look at how politically correct they have played their cards, they just did everything correct by taking in Pawar.
